This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Mineral Earth Sciences LLC and its subsidiaries, (together, “Mineral”), collect, use, and disclose information about you. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect about you when you use our websites and other online services (collectively, “Services”), and when you communicate with us, visit our facilities or attend our events.
Collection of information
Information you provide
We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you submit an interest form, attend one of our events, create an account to access our Services, submit feedback or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your email address, company name and any other information you choose to provide.
Information we automatically collect
When you use our Services, we automatically collect certain device and usage information, such as:
Device and Usage Information: We collect information about your access to our Services, including data about the device and network you use, such as your hardware model, operating system version, mobile network, IP address, unique device identifiers, browser type, and app version, and information about time and date of access and details around what pages or features you use.
Information Collected by Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies: We and our service providers use tracking technologies, such as cookies, pixels, and SDKs to collect information about your interactions with our Services. These technologies may collect information about your use of our Services, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent or links clicked. This information is used to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your activity.
Information we collect from other sources
We may obtain information about you from other sources. For example, we may collect information about you from organizers of events we participate in or host, including your name and contact information.
Information we derive
We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect. For example, we may make inferences about your approximate location based on your IP address.

Create de-identified, anonymized, or aggregated information (Mineral processes, maintains, and uses this information only in a de-identified fashion and will not attempt to re-identify such information, except as permitted by law); and
Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.
Disclosure of information
In certain circumstances, we disclose (or permit others to directly collect) information about you. We disclose the categories of information described above in the following ways:
with companies, advisors and contractors that perform services for us, such as web hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, professional services, customer service, and marketing and advertising;
if we believe that disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements;
if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, if we believe that you have violated the law, or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of Mineral, our customers, the public, or others;
in connection with, or during negotiations of certain corporate transactions, including the merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company;
between and among Mineral and its subsidiaries; and
when we have your consent or you direct us to do so.
We may also disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Your choices
Account Information
You may update and correct certain account information at any time by contacting us at privacy@google.com. If you wish to deactivate your account, please send your request to legal-notices@google.com, but note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for our legitimate business purposes.
Cookies
Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually adjust your browser settings to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that removing or rejecting cookies could affect the availability and functionality of our Services.
Communications Preferences
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from Mineral by following the instructions in those communications. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about our ongoing business relations.
Data retention
We store personal data associated with your account for as long as your account remains active. If you close your account, we will delete your account data within 90 days or upon your request. We store other personal data for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes for which we originally collected it and for other business purposes explained in this Privacy Policy.
Transfer of information to other countries
Mineral is headquartered in the United States and we have operations and vendors in the United States and other countries. Therefore, we and those that perform work for us may transfer your personal information to, or store or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide levels of data protection that are equivalent to those of your home jurisdiction. Where required by law, we provide adequate protection for the transfer of personal data in accordance with applicable law, such as by relying on the European Commission’s adequacy decisions, or executing Standard Contractual Clauses. Additional information for California residents
Some US state privacy laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) require specific disclosures for state residents. If you reside in California, this section applies to you.
We do not “share” your personal information as that term is defined in the CCPA.
We do not process “sensitive personal information” (as that term is defined in the CCPA) for purposes other than the permitted purposes identified in the CCPA regulations.
We retain personal information about you for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes for which we originally collected it and for other business purposes explained in this Privacy Policy.
We may also de-identify personal information about you so that the information can no longer be linked to you. When we de-identify personal information, we maintain policies and technical measures to avoid re-identifying that information .
State laws like the CCPA also provide the right to request information about how we collect, use, and disclose your information. And they give you the right to access and correct your information, and to request that we delete that information. Finally, the CCPA provides the right to not be discriminated against for exercising these privacy rights.
You can submit a request by contacting us at privacy@google.com. We will verify your request by asking you to provide information that matches information we have on file about you. You can also designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf, but we will require proof that the person is authorized to act on your behalf and may also still ask you to verify your identity with us directly. If you have questions or requests related to your rights under the CCPA, or if you want to exercise a right to appeal a decision we made on your request, you (or your authorized agent) can also contact us at privacy@google.com.

When we have your consent to do so (e.g., when you opt in to receive marketing communications from us). When consent is the legal basis for our processing your personal data, you may withdraw such consent at any time.
Subject to certain limitations, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and to receive your data in a portable format, the right to ask that your personal data be corrected or erased, and the right to object to, or request that we restrict, certain processing.
